Postpartum Doula Support Services

As a postpartum doula, it is my goal to help you adjust to the many changes and new challenges you may encounter with a newborn. As your doula, I draw upon my knowledge and experience to provide postpartum support services. It is my hope that when you have said support, postpartum challenges may feel less overwhelming, your confidence will be higher, and your new family will bond and flourish.


Postpartum (PP) doula service offers services for you and your newborn, including the following

  • Day or overnight PP doula support.
  • While under contract, 24/7 access to answer questions or concerns via phone, text, or messenger.
  • Emotional support and guidance.
  • Feeding/breastfeeding support.
  • Newborn care suggestions and guidance.
  • Provide support by phone, message, text, or email at no additional charge.
  • Food preparation and light meals when requested, grocery shopping, funds provided by client in advance (additional charges apply - see fees for PP doula service).
  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, etc.).
  • Run errands (additional charges apply - see fees for PP doula services).
  • Past client references, when requested. 
  • Recommendations to community resources.
  • ** NOTICE - After contracts have been signed, note when to notify your PP doula to begin service
  • **NOTICE - Client cancelation of postpartum service.


Postpartum (PP) service DOES NOT include or provide

  • PP service is not to be interpreted as Nanny service, Au Pair service, daycare service, or a child sitting service. 
  • PP service is not to be interpreted as a house keeping service, gardener or lawn care service, plant care service, a household repair service, or transportation service.      
  • It is not the role of your PP doula to make a medical diagnosis or make medical decisions for you, your baby/infant or your family.
  • It is not the role of your PP doula to administer prescriptions or over the counter medication to you, your baby, or your family.
  • Your PP doula is not permitted to ride in your vehicle or drive your vehicle.
  • It is not the role of your PP doula to provide transportation for you or others.
  • It is not the role of your PP doula to discipline additional children in your home.
  • It is not the role of your PP doula to share your personal information or communicate your needs with your partner, husband, boyfriend, friends, or family members.  


**NOTICE - Client cancelation of postpartum service -

Clients agree to notify the PP doula 24 hours in advance if there is a need to reschedule a day of service. Adhering to this rule will help you to avoid a late-cancellation fee. A client's abrupt cancelation of postpartum service - client will be held responsible for immediate payment in full for all services ordered. 


**NOTICE - After contracts have been signed, note when to notify your PP doula to begin service -

Notify your doula within the first 24 hours following the birth of your baby. The doula will, usually, need 48 hours’ notice prior to schedule the start of postpartum service. Additional postpartum services will require filling out an addendum contract sheet acknowledging beginning and end of services, approximate days/dates/hours, and updated contract signatures.

Daytime & Overnight Doula Service Fee $30.00 - $60.00 Per Hour
