CYR Prenatal Childbirth Ed Sessions are designed to:

  • impress the importance of how to build the right birth team for you.
  • engage your innate ability to birth.
  • learn the basics about pregnancy anatomy and the physiological stages of labor and birth.
  • provide tools for labor and birth.
  • guide you with recognizing familial customs and beliefs and the potential impact it can have on your labor and birth.
  • provide information about how to navigate an over-medicalized system of maternity care.
  • promote self-advocacy. 
  • promote active participation in your childbearing year.
  • identify informed options, informed consent, and informed refusal. 
  • cultivate an appreciation for your right to bodily autonomy in all settings. 
  • explain risks, benefits, and alternatives for common medical maternity care procedures.
  • enhance a mindful connection to your body and baby.
  • assist you in acquiring knowledge and understand for the processes of labor and birth.
  • encourage and affirm your innate ability to navigate the labor and birth process.
  • assist you with being centered during the intensity of pressure waves.
  • normalize that your baby has innate knowledge for the processes of labor and birth. 
  • normalize that your body has innate knowledge and abilities for the processes of labor and birth.
  • normalize that your brain has the innate ability to follow your body and baby through the intense processes of labor and birth. 
  • normalize the intensity of labor and birth as a direct pathway to meeting your baby.
  • learn to surrender to the intensity of pressure waves by accepting the peaks and valleys of waves as an ally in the journey to bringing your baby earth-side.
  • encourage you to recognize your newborn's innate ability to begin the journey to breastfeeding.
  • generate instrumental talking points for opening crucial conversations with your maternity care provider and birth team. 
  • assist you with suggestions for setting up the best possible postpartum options for your journey through breastfeeding and healing.
  • align you with community support and web resources to avoid feeling overwhelmed and isolated during your childbearing year.  
  • offer comprehensive, flexible, and convenient sessions to assist you in becoming more prepared and stronger than you thought possible as you move through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.

Grandparents, Friends, & Loved Ones Postpartum Support Class: Learn simple, meaningful ways to help families after birth.

 

Class not intended for birthworkers or birthworker students.

Are you curious about how to give meaningful support to families in those first weeks after birth, support that actually helps instead of unintentionally adding stress?

This Grandparents, Friends, & Loved Ones Postpartum Support Class is designed to offer practical, compassionate guidance for those who want to show up well during the postpartum season. Together, we’ll talk honestly about what postpartum recovery really looks like, how needs shift after birth, and what kind of support truly makes a difference for new parents, baby, and the entire family.


Participants will learn:

  • Practical ways to support postpartum recovery and adjustment
  • Helpful strategies that build confidence instead of pressure
  • What new families often need most in the early weeks after birth
  • How to offer support that is respectful, grounded, and truly helpful
     

This class is educational, reflective, and designed to help loved ones feel prepared and confident in their role.


Sessions and Fees

  • Private CYR Prenatal Childbirth Preparation Sessions $375.00. Number of Private CYR Education Sessions to be determined at time of contract signing.
  • 1 private Full Day CYR Childbirth Education Intensive Session $375.00. Number of hours for Private Childbirth Ed Intensive Session to be determined a time of contract signing.
  • 1 Private Postpartum Preparation Session $125.00.
  • 1 Private Grandparents, Friends, & Loved Ones Postpartum Support Class: Learn simple, meaningful ways to help families after birth. $125.00. Group session available upon request. 
  • Sessions not intended for birthworkers or birthworker students.
